How we collect, use, and protect your information, and your child's photos.

Information we collect

When you create an account or place an order, we collect the information you give us: your name, email address, shipping address, and the details you add to personalize a book, such as your child's first name, the photo you upload, and any dedication message you write.

We also collect limited technical information automatically, such as your device type, browser, and the pages you visit on our site, so we can keep the service working well and understand how it is used.

Payment details are handled by our payment processor. We never see or store your full card number.

Your child's photos

Your children's photos are yours. They're encrypted, stored securely in your account, and never used for anything other than creating your family's books. You can delete them at any time.

We use the photo you upload only to illustrate the books you create. We do not sell it, share it with advertisers, or use it to train models unrelated to producing your family's books.

How we use information

We use your information to create your books, process and ship your orders, manage your account and any subscription, and respond when you contact us.

With your permission, we may send you occasional emails about new stories or offers. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.

We do not sell your personal information.

Storage & deletion

Your account information, saved previews, and uploaded photos are stored securely for as long as your account is active so you can come back to your books whenever you're ready.

You can delete uploaded photos from your account at any time. If you close your account, we delete your photos and personal information within a reasonable period, except where we are required to keep records of completed orders.

Children's privacy

Bookadilla is designed for parents, grandparents, and other adults to create books for the children in their lives. Accounts must be created by an adult, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children.

If you believe a child has provided us with personal information without a parent's or guardian's consent, please contact us and we will remove it.
