Terms of service
Last updated: September 4, 2026 (draft)
The terms that apply when you create a book, place an order, or start a subscription.
The service
Bookadilla lets you create fully personalized, illustrated children's storybooks in which your child appears as the main character, and order printed copies. By using the site, you agree to these terms.
We may update the service and these terms from time to time. When we make meaningful changes, we will post the updated terms here with a new date.
Accounts
You must be an adult to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your login details private and for activity that happens under your account.
When you upload a photo, you confirm that you are the child's parent or guardian, or that you have their permission to use the photo to create a book.
Orders & shipping
We currently ship within the United States. Print copies typically arrive in 7–12 days. You'll receive a confirmation email when your order is placed and a tracking notification once it ships.
Because every book is made to order, please check your preview carefully before you place your order. If a book arrives damaged or with a printing error, contact us and we will make it right.
Subscriptions
The monthly subscription is $29.99. Check the available plan and its terms before subscribing. Final plan details are shown when enrollment is available.
Subscriptions are billed monthly for the length of the plan you choose. You can manage your favorites list and your plan from your account at any time.
Intellectual property
The stories, illustrations, characters, and design of Bookadilla are owned by us or our licensors. Your printed books are yours to keep and share; the underlying stories and artwork may not be copied, resold, or reproduced for commercial use.
You keep ownership of the photos and messages you provide. You give us permission to use them solely to create and deliver your books.
Limitation of liability
We work hard to make every book beautiful, but the service is provided as is. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bookadilla is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the service, and our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it.
